We even drink more than the USA. Given that the US population is 326 million compared to the 67 million people in the UK - that means the UK is drinking a 3/10 of a bottle per person per year whilst in the USA they are drinking 6/100 of a bottle per year.
We therefore drink 5 times more champagne per head than the USA.
